I was born and raised on the northwest side of Chicago.
I am of proud bi-racial decent being half Mexican and half Japanese.
I attended Chicago Public schools for elementary school and high school specifically Newberry Elementary and Lane Technical High School.
I have proudly held over 20 jobs in the city since the age of 14 including working for Chicago Park District and Chicago Board of Education.
Graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago with a degree in business management. Later, I graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law. While in law school I worked for the Cook County State’s Attorney in the Juvenile Justice Division.
I also worked for the Chicago Board of Education as Board Prosecutor.
Upon graduation I worked for a well-known law firm in Aurora under the now Mayor or Aurora representing clients in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Defense, Bankruptcy and Civil litigation.
I am also a Hearing Officer for the Chicago Board of Education where I have presided over hundreds of administrative hearings.
I started my own practice in 2010 and have served hundreds of clients primarily in the area of Family Law.
I live in Logan Square with my partner and my twin daughters who also attend Chicago public school in the district.
I have always been a hands-on attorney who has always been very accessible and understands the needs of his individual clients.
I have specialized in the legal needs of the common working class person. I take pride in knowing that I have spent my career helping everyday people solve everyday problems.
