“I want people who enter my courtroom to know that their voices will be heard! I want them to know I come from the same community and have faced the same problems as them. People who enter my courtroom will know that I have compassion for their situations and that they will receive a fair outcome no matter if they are self-represented or if they have the most high powered legal team.”
